Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I flipped my old mats upside down while waiting to finish the floor. The treadmill did not move. I still recommend putting them texture side up. It’s unlikely that you would slip on the flat side no matter how gross and sweaty you get, but the flat side absorbs liquid. They might absorb sweat making them smell bad. The textured side seems to allow liquid to sit on it until wiped up.
