I live in Arkansas and have had my camera for about a week. It dies get hot and it will shut diwn but i set mine infront if my AC vent for a few minutes and it hasnt given me anyother issues. If you have a way to keep it out of direct sunlight you shoukd be ok.

We'd recommend removing the Dash Cam and placing in the glove compartment when the Dash Cam is not in use to prevent it being unnecessarily heated on the windscreen. Feel free to contact us at [email protected] if you have any further questions.
