“I'm interested to know about cloud backup on this device so that, for instance, a crooked cop cannot take the SD card and destroy the evidence. Is there an easy way to quickly trigger a file save to the cloud?”

You can program this to your smart phone, all files are stored there in one to three minute segments. You can play back on your phone or computer.
