    • Answer Most Night Owl DVR/NVRs can accommodate larger hard drives. See your product Specifications for the max size. Our DVR/NVRs are compatible with internal SATA HDD's, 2.5" or 3.5". The HDD should have a minimum of 7200 RPM. We are not able to guarantee compatibility with external hard drives at this time. Thank you for choosing Night Owl!

  • QuestionI have a wired Zmodo PTZ ( Z2213) camera that I want to add to this system. Is it compatible? Controllable?

    • Answer We are not able to guarantee compatibility with any 3rd party brands. That said, our DVRs are ONVIF compliant and should function with most ONVIF compliant cameras of the same technology. Unfortunately, we can not make any assurances though.Thank you!
