The recording time will vary depending on the number of connected cameras and your record settings. By default the cameras are set to Motion Record and will only record when motion is detected. How much motion a particular camera detects will depend on that cameras installation location. Thank you for choosing Night Owl!

Please refine your question. What sort of limits? Recording time is essentially infinite, as you have a 1 TB hard drive. That will hold a lot of data. When full, you can tell it to over-write the oldest files. Store even more by lowering resolution of recording only motion-detect issues. Lotsa variables here. If this doesn't answer your question, please give more info about your particular situation.

Not sure what you mean by limits, but, it has 1 terabyte of memory. That's a lot. It you want to save anything you can transfer it to a thumb drive.
