“So you can add a PTZ camera to this system? That would be 5 cams total. Can it operate more than one PTZ? If so can the smartphone software operate the PTZ features? Which PTZ would you recommend? Will it operate other brand's PTZ cams? Thanks!”

Good Afternoon, this Night Owl system is PTZ camera compatible. You may have a total of 8 cameras connected to this Night Owl system, however, its only compatible with a single PTZ camera. Regarding the Night Owl Application, you may view and record from your smart device, however, the application does not have the ability of operating the PTZ features. We do not guarantee third-party compatibility when it comes to accessories or devices. Thank you for choosing Night Owl.
