Yes, you may use the Night Owl DVR without an internet connection. The only time you will require having an internet connection is if you would like to remotely view your Night Owl System from your smart device. Thank you very much for choosing Night Owl.

During the initial set up process of the DVR, it allows you to skip the network/Internet set up portion of it. You can always go back and set up the network portion of the system if you want at a later time. As long as you have a monitor and the mouse that it comes with, you can do everything you need to from the DVR itself. ** For advanced users; The DVR does have the capability to access it through remote access, without the use of the app as well.
