Yes, the AF-S NIKKOR 50mm f/1.8G Lens (Product 2199) is fully compatible with the D7000.

50/1.8 is a FX format lens,not recommended for d7000 (crop sensor) cameras. Instead get the 35/1.8,its designed for dx format.

Should work just fine! I use mine on a D7200 and it take EXCELLENT photos!
