No. It is a portrait lens. For Wildlife you need very long telephoto lenses. Upwards of 300mm. The longer the better.

However, with its fast aperture and ability to perform well under low-light situations, this lens would fit well in a wildlife photographers kit! If you intend on shooting wildlife from great distances, a zoom lens with a longer focal length may be more ideal. For shooting landscapes such as a lake, a wide-angle lens is recommended in order to capture the entire scene.
