I chose the B700 for several reasons: 1. The B700 is 20mp instead of 16mp for the P900, so that's a plus. 2. The B700 can shoot in RAW, which gives you better "raw" pictures. That will really help the quality of the output (prints) 3. The P900 is 83x zoom, while the B700 is 'only' 60x, but both are incredibly long, so it didn't matter to me. 4. The B700 shoots 4k video which I like.

The B700 has a 20 MP sensor and its largest Image Size setting will produce an image that is 5184x3888 pixels. When printing a 5184x3888 image at 300dpi the resulting print size would be about 17.3”x13”. When comparing lens focal length the Nikon COOLPIX P900 has an advantage over the B700 as the P900 has a lens focal length of about 4.3-347mm, giving it an angle of view equivalent to that of a 24-2000mm lens in 35mm (135) format, while the B700's lens focal length provides an angle of view that is equivalent to that of approximately 24-1440mm lens in 35(135) format. Both of these COOLPIX cameras are excellent choices when considering zoom capability and amazing image quality.
