COOLPIX cameras like this COOLPIX B700 are compact digital, also known as point-and-shoot, cameras. COOLPIX cameras have no mirror mechanism, however, they are not classified as "mirrorless" cameras because they do not have interchangeable lenses.

There are 2 options to preview a photo, the eye cup viewfinder and the panel on the back of the camera body. The tele/widescreen option allows more latitude than a point and shoot but there’s no option to change lenses
