• No, it cannot. The Nikon EN-EL12 should only be charged by using the EH-73P Charging AC adapter and UC-21 USB Cable that are provided in the box with the Nikon COOLPIX W300 digital camera. Failure to observe this precaution could result in damage to the camera or battery. To learn more about this precaution please contact Nikon Support.
