How long does the battery last before recharging or replacing? My current digital camera has 2 recharable batteries that drain in about a week. If they don't last fp 6 months or so, it's a real pain!

I've only recharged my battery a few times, but it lasts through a family reunion weekend without having to replace the battery with another charged battery. Make sure you are not leaving the camera on with the lens cap and the use of the live view drains your battery faster than using the view finder.

How much are you shooting in that week? I can kill a battery in a day but that's usually about 2,500 shots.
