• The VR lens stands for vibration reduction which is a nice feature but the lens in this package is not the VR lens but still takes great photos. Some may prefer using a tripod for distant landscape pics for this reason.

• The Nikon D3400 DSLR camera has a Nikon F bayonet mount that is fully compatible with Nikon AF-S, AF-P and E-type lenses. Nikon AI and AF-type lenses can also be used but must be focused manually as the Nikon D3400 camera does not have a built-in focus motor like the Nikon D80 does.
