• The images are not transferred via an HDMI cable. The correct cable for transferring images is the UC-E20 USB Cable, which is not supplied with the Nikon D3400 kit. Images can also be transferred to the computer by taking the SD card out of the camera and placing it in a card reader. An additional option for transfer is to use the camera's built-in Bluetooth and Wi-Fi to send images to a compatible smart device running the SnapBridge application.
