I take a lot of photos of birds and animals with this camera and the 70/300 Nikon lens works perfect.

I would definitely get this camera for that! It came with two lenses and one of them has a fantastic zoom. My husband calls it “the camera that allows you to see a pimple on someone’s face from a mile away”. Lol
