The Nikon D3500 does not have internal memory. There is no memory card listed under "What's Included" so one should be purchased separately. The approved memory card brands for this camera are SanDisk, Lexar, Panasonic, and Toshiba. The Nikon D3500 is capable of taking beautiful photos at night. This can be done with ease using the Night Portrait mode to create a natural balance between the main subject and the background in portraits taken under low light.
