The Nikon D5300 DSLR camera does not have an ability to be used for live streaming, however, you can use the computer to have remote control of the settings on the camera by using the optional Camera Control Pro 2 software. This software allows the user to preview and adjust focus, remotely change camera settings and provides a real-time preview of a subject through the lens in LiveView. As for times when you just need the camera to be used for extended periods of time directly from a wall outlet check out the optional AC Adapter EH-5c and EP-5B Power Connector; these two power accessories will allow you to use the camera while being powered.
