Yes, the D3200 and the D5600 batteries can be interchanged. The D3200 comes with an EN-EL14 battery and the D5600 comes with an EN-EL14a battery. EN-EL14a battery life has been improved by up to 20% compared to the EN-EL14a. The D3200's firmware has been updated in order to maximize the performance of the EN-EL14a in this camera.
