“Does the lens that comes with the D5600, do all the modes work? Like manual and auto, etc. some lens I have bought in the past only work in manual mode Nd it was very frustrating.”

Yes the auto focus works with these lenses. They actually don't have a switch on them if you want manual focus only you have to change a menu setting. The menu also has the option for manual override of autofocus using the focus ring
