The Nikon D5600 DSLR camera has built-in Wi-Fi and SnapBridge technology so that it can more easily connect to a compatible smart device. SnapBridge technology allows the camera to connect to any compatible, Bluetooth-capable smart device that is running the SnapBridge application. The paired smart device can then be used as a remote release for the connected camera by accessing the smart device's WiFi options. No accessories besides a smart device are needed to access a wireless connection. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The camera has its own wifi network. Which means the only way to take photos via remote are with a smart phone. The wireless network is my least favorite feature I would prefer to use a cheap remote to take pictures from afar as the wireless network built in can be frustrating when it fails.
