“My confirmation email says my order will only remain active for 14 days(on most backordereditems). Does that apply to this camera? If so, do I have to worry about getting in another order after the 2 weeks so I can get my hands on this camera?”

I waited 2 months to get my camera and only ordered it once. I did get concerned, but the order was updated and delivered.
