The Z mount threads are in the opposite direction to most camera systems. You will have to turn the cap clockwise to loosen it, then you'll need to turn the lens itself counterclockwise when mounting it onto your camera body.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Make sure you turn it counter clockwise.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Okay I'm sure you've tried this, but it's a twist off. If it's really stuck on there I would say try putting something between the can and lens and gently try prying it off.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. For the future, don't over-tighten it when putting the lens cap on, which I have done once. It's a bit like a food jar lid that's on too tight. You might be able to use one of those flexible rubber mats or grippers [or similar] to help grip the lens cap to help twist it off. But be careful to not apply too much force [don't bang on it] to prevent breaking anything. If unsuccessful, get help at the store.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I wouldn’t force it. It twists off. If you have tried to twist it in each direction, I’d take it back to your local Bestbuy for a replacement or assistance. It is definitely snug, but you should be able to get it off.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You need to squeeze both sides of the lens cap simultaneously then turn it
