• Only when your taken a picture you can view the screen

• The WU-1a unfortunately doesn't allow you to take videos. When taking remote pictures, you will see the screen though.

• yes, your wifi device shows a live feed from the camera view finder

• The WU-1a is a Wireless Mobile Adapter, which will transfer via Wi-Fi, images from the D3200 can be downloaded to a compatible smart device as they are taken or download existing images from the camera's SD memory card. Movies can not be viewed using the Wireless Mobile Adapter utility (app) but can be played back by tapping the movie or playback icon to display a list of movie apps and choosing an app from the list.
