Do you have to a descale and if so how do you do that is there a light for it as well as a solution to do the descaling? null

Yes, this coffee maker does need to be descaled periodically. The Intelligent Clean Cycle Indicator will automatically illuminate orange when a cleaning cycle is recommended. You can use a descaling solution or a mixture of white vinegar and water, following the instructions in the user manual to complete the cycle.

You do have to descale but the clean sensor, at least on mine, goes off way too often. If I use K-cups its normal, about every 40-60-ish cups (its supposed to be 90) but when I use coffee grounds in the basket the stupid light comes on every 3-5 brews. Ive started to just ignore it and descale every other month.

If you use distilled water, I like I do. I don’t have to descale.
