• Yes there is a clean cycle and instructions to follow using vinegar. It does clean and you might to have to wait 1-2 coffee pods later for no vinegar taste

• There's a "clean" button on top. I haven't had it long enough to say if it's a stand alone button or if you have to use a descaling solution.

• I've not had this Ninja single serve very long. It does have a clean button on it. I'm not sure if there is a light to indicate it's time for a cleaning. Even though we've not used it a lot, but so far, we're very happy with this Ninja!
