• When something frozen is put into the blender it ends up sticking to the side when there is not liquid in it. It chops it up. I haven’t used it with ice but with my frozen fruit it chops it so I put juice or milk to make it into a smoothie. I hope that helps.

• Yes, you can chop ice. We'd recommend using the manual Pulse function to get it to the desired consistency.
