Yes, the cook tops ( griddle and grill) are removable to clean, as is the lid. So far I have easily cleaned them by hand.

The grill grate and griddle plates are not dishwasher safe, but they can be washed by hand. If food residue is stuck on the plates, soak them in warm, soapy water before cleaning. The slotted lid is dishwasher safe, while the main unit and control panel should be wiped clean with a damp cloth. Air-dry or towel-dry all parts thoroughly after cleaning.
