• The Joy Con are recharged when attached to docked Switch. You never add or remove any batteries.

• No batteries to replace. Just connect it to its charger base or the switch console itself to charge

• The batteries to the controllers charge either with the system or by the charging pad (sold separately). The system charges on the dock or by USB C charging cord.

• The controller can be charged by attaching it to the side of the console while it's in the dock or plugged by with an AC Adapter. It can also be charged with a Joy-Con Charging Grip (sold separately).
