Obviously no hate to the person who left that answer everyone has their own taste and opinions. This switch is great for animal crossing lovers and nintendo collectors (it's a special edition item). As you can see, the switch has special colorized joy cons and joy con straps which can't be purchased separately from this switch. The switch also has special etching on the back which has acnh villagers/scenery/items on it. The dock is solid white and has the nooks on the front of it. The switch is also the newest version (as of right now) V2 which has better battery life than V1. Additionally, in acnh you receive the special edition switch item for free.
A:AnswerSame. I’ve been looking for a month and people kept saying it was coming back in the beginning of April but it didn’t. I saved my birthday money for one and now I don’t know if I’ll be able to get one :(

I recently spoke with a representative from Best Buy and I was told that this is not a special edition console, and that it will be continuously restocked just like the other special editions! No one knows when the restock will happen, though, so just keep checking and be patient. I hope this helps!

A:AnswerHistorically, yes, but I couldn't say for sure with this one. I've had good luck at "the bull's eye store" in the past, but it required camping out for the night! (They would only get a couple of units.)
A:Answerb/c people are camping for this and are savage when majority of people who are buying this probably already have a switch lol. Pre-orders basically keep selling out almost instantaneously if you see it available and then it says it isn't anymore. If really wanted, can camp out for it from retail stores who will probably have 1-3 in stock excluded from the pre-orders. I'd give a call to ask though. I know all gamestops will be doing that.
A:AnswerI just got off the phone with some one at my local best buy. He said it is going to be available for preorder but he doesn't know when. They have not sold out of the preorders as others have stated. At least at the Bangor, Maine location.
