• It depends on whether you want to use the Switch for online play. If you just prefer to just use the Switch for Animal Crossing or some other games that don't require online play, you can just use the Switch without a membership.

• Not necessarily. If you want to play online, you have to buy the membership, but everything else functions normally without the membership. You just can’t play online.

• No you dont...this card its only for playing online or if you wanna play a few classics SNES and NES games
