How do you get the name to display from contact list on Nokia 2780 for incoming calls instead of just the number. Currently the number comes up but the name doesn't display until after call has ended null

I had same problem, you need to add  +1 before the area code for USA. make sure to add the  +

Nokia and/or the person who wrote the summary of features about Nokia 2780 doesn't know what Caller ID is. Nokia - totally misleading buyers. In contrast, it should have been noted: "Caller ID on this phone will show only the phone number on the outer screen." Totally useless but at least honest and a determinant if one should buy or not buy this phone.
