• Wi-Fi is NOT required to work out. It is functional as a stand alone treadmill.

• The treadmill works great without Wi-Fi. I had a previous model of Nordictrack treadmill for about 12 years. This newer model is much quieter and has a larger walking/running surface. It took some effort to get the new treadmill into our exercise room due to the overall dimensions. We took all of the pieces out of the box and assembled the treadmill in the porch. It wouldn't have fit through the doorways fully assembled, unless tipped on its side.
