I bought it for the same price as you 1 year ago on 2019 and my subscription is about to expire on October 2020. It renewed recently because I did not see their "notification email that they said they sent". It did not renew at the price that I bought it for from retail best buy; but for the full price Norton sells it for. If you do not want to be charged, make sure that after you do your download, remove your bank account from your Norton account profile. Hope this helps you. They charged me but they were super helpful to give me a refund the next day after I had called them to address what happened. Same thing through Chat Request. They are super helpful. I recommend you use the Request Chat if that happens to you.
