IF I purchase this one after having the first promtoional rate they will send me a bill for the difference and if I dont pay will cancel my subscription. So if your trying to avoid the higher cost they will catch up with you. Im thinking of switching to McCaffee and then next year go back to Norton so I can get the intro price. Just soooo frustrating since I am a senior on limited income.

    • Answer When you purchased in the retail store, you were buying a recurring subscription that automatically renews each year after the initial term. If you choose to disable automatic renewal feature, your subscription will continue to work for the period you subscribed however, it will not get renewed automatically when it expires. Thanks!

    • Answer Hi Mike, Each product key has its intended subscription period and you will not be able to use all the product keys at the same time. If you already have a subscription activated on your device and if you use a new key to activate, your Norton 360 will get activated with new key and the subscription period from the old key will not get added to the new key.     • Answer I have been buying and manually downloading Norton for several years without an issue. The only catch to downloading Norton yourself is that you have to sign up for the auto renewal BUT you can delete the auto renewal option after you download the new version. If you keep the auto renewal on, then Yes. Norton will charge you ALOT more than what it costs to download this yourself. Once you cancel the auto renewal, they cannot charge you anything extra unless you choose to have their added protection services or don’t cancel.
