“Does the product key contain 25 or 29 digits? My receipt says 29 but I think I only see 25 digits. But the ink on the receipt where it contains the product key is very faint on a portion of it. Online it says 25 digits.”

Hi - thanks for your question. Norton license keys typically have 25 alphanumeric characters, but Best Buy may distribute them with ‘-‘ dashes every five characters for easier readability, which would make a total of 29. When entering the key for activations on norton.com, the dashes are optional. BTW, in case the receipt key isn’t easily readable, the key is also sent to your email - hope this helps. - DWN
