The initial response was incorrect. Nvidia does recommend a 650W power supply; however, a 600W in a lot of cases will be more than sufficient especially when you are working with a Ryzen 5 3500. There is quite a few reddit forums and youtube videos that can clarify this further. I had begun doing the research into this as well and it is what I came across during my search. I would suggest upgrading the 500W if you wanted to comfortably be able to use this card and if you are already upgrading go with a 700W gold/platinum to get better bang for your buck.

I would expect a cost of ~$100 for a 650-700 watt power supply. And a Ryzen 5 3600 will work great if you aren’t trying to stream or run really high refresh rates (above 144hz).
