Dont give up! You too can get a 3070!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was able to get it! Its now in my computer! This was a journey and lots of time to get to this point. With the stimulus my wife approved me building a PC for the first time in years. Problem with that was there was no stock. Guys and Gals do not give up watch Bestbuy, be signed in, have all cards updated, and the verification do text instead of emails because its instant. Now to the card. It handles everything I throw at it. The GPU auto overclocks as needed. I bet it would go higher but for games and my 3d printing cad it works just fine as is. As soon as i tossed this card in my system I ran some benchmarks and was surprised with a beeping noise from what I thought was my power supply. Turns out after some digging that it was pulling too much wattage for my ups so I guess that turns this into a space heater. MSRP is so nice.

Good value for its time
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent graphics card for an excellent price point. It's hard to keep up with the more intensive games that are being shipped these days, but I find the 3070 comfortable for more high quality gaming at 2k/50-60fps

PERFECT for small form factor (Dan A4-SFX)
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This graphics card is everything I was hoping for from Nvidia! Almost a year ago, I started building a small form factor PC, with the intent of putting a 3000-series graphics card in it. I was looking forward to the next-gen die shrink, so that I could get a lot of performance without too much power consumption (a huge plus for SFF builds). Well, a year later, this card does not disappoint! With some undervolting tweaks, I managed to get this card to run at 1875MHz and only 180W, which is more than manageable for any case with adequate cooling. In my specific case, the Dan A4-SFX, I had to make a few minor tweaks to make it perform optimally. For one, this card has some funky exhaust directions (out the rear, up, down AND through the backplate!). To compensate for the down exhaust, I added fans to the bottom of the case in exhaust direction. I also doubled up the stand-offs for the GPU riser, so that it would have extra space between the card and the back of the case compartment, for that pass-through fan that pushes air out the backplate. A secondary benefit of the extra spacing is that the front of the card is closer to the side panel now, for easier access to intake air. Overall, I am incredibly excited for this graphics card! It managed to play Monster Hunter on my 4K TV at 100 FPS, with G-Sync... what a beautiful experience hahaha. The best part... the heatsink it comes with is incredibly efficient, so it doesn't make a racket to keep the card cool. With the undervolt, it's even more impressive. I consider myself very lucky to have got my hands on a 3070, especially this Nvidia model!

"Don't Give Up" I'm So Happy Right Now
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review."Don't Give Up" I DID IT!!!! I beat the bots i know you can too! I've been hunting for one since launch since this card is a BEAST for price. I watched a lot of "fixitfixitfixit" YT alerts on my 2nd monitor all the time and watched the discord. DLSS is MAGIC in Cyberpunk 2077 i was getting before on my 1070ti i 40fps on LOW now everything is on ULTRA w/DLSS Quality hitting 100fps i'm in love. Good Luck to all who trying to get one. My watch has finally come to an end.

Incredible card for a great price
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Gets great performance in really any game @ 1440p. If you're looking to game @ 4k reliably I'd probably go with something beefier. But anyways, the reference design is great and my card has kept very cool (even in the cramped ITX case I've got it jammed in to). All I can say is I wish it had a bit more VRAM. Running multiple displays + a VR headset nearly maxes it out. Also, don't give in to scalpers!!!! It allows them to keep doing what they do. Look up methods for tracking card drops & camp out on the BB app Tuesday mornings. Good luck.

Q: QuestionCan this be put into the Dell precision t1700? (Sorry if it’s a stupid question, asking for my 14 year old son who is new to the build/upgrade world). He is trying to turn our old desktop into a gaming computer. Thanks for any advise you can give me!!
Asked by Jeni.
- A:Answer No such thing as a stupid question. Typically though with PCs that are built as home computers and workstations that are mass manufactured they aren't made to be turned into a gaming rig. That seems to be the case with this PC after I looked at the specs. Not only will it NOT handle an Nvidia RTX 3070 it also will NOT be able to be turned into a gaming rig. None of the components with this PC are salvageable nor would they be worth salvaging. Your best bet would be to wait till black Friday where PC components go on sale and trying to build a complete PC by yourself for around 1000$ (give or take due to sales) as a Christmas present. If you need a reference or a guide a youtube named "BitWit" actually has a build guide for a 1000$ which actually contains this card. Again, please do NOT try and convert this PC. Depending on what is done it could be potentially dangerous with low-end PSU and etc. Wish him luck on his PC building adventure for me. It's amazing :)

Q: QuestionWhen will it come back in stock? Can we backorder it?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer There’s no exact day, but check every Tuesday and Thursday from 7:30-9:30ish am. PST. Bestbuy has dropped many cards (60ti, 70, 80, and 90’s) on Friday’s (usually every two weeks, so two weeks from 1/22/21, which was their last drop) at the same time 7:30-9:30ish. A Twitch streamer, Falcodrin, gives info and helpful tips on when websites (like Bestbuy) that are dropping cards. I suggest you download the Bestbuy app (it’s how I was able to get my 3060 ti). I hope this helps!

Q: QuestionCan this graphics card run a Ryzen 5 3600 and a b 550 f motherboard with 15gb of ram.
Asked by Nate.
- A:Answer The 3600 should be a good match for the RTX 3070, it may be a slight choke if you are trying to run over 144hz at 1080p due to the fact that higher frame rates at lower resolution is more cpu intensive. But the combo would be great for 1440p. If you are going for really high refresh rates like 240 hz or are planning on streaming/heavy multitasking, I would consider upgrading to the Ryzen 7 3700x.

Q: QuestionMy set up is a i9-9900k, Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Pro, 64dd4 ram Samsung (MZ-V7S1T0B/AM) 970 EVO Plus SSD 1TB, 4TB WD Blue HDD ,850w will the power be fine and the gpu will work with that set up? Thank you for your time
Asked by Sirwolf.
- A:Answer Nvidia recommends a 650W psu with their rtx 3070 so I would imagine an 850W psu being more than enough. And there won't be a large difference between pcie gen 3 and gen 4. Maybe 5 fps difference depending on what games you play.
