It would be extraordinarily easy to implement, and Best Buy knows this, but setting up a system like that would lose Best Buy tens of thousands of website clicks every single day, and Best Buy doesn't want that to happen. For Best Buy, it sells either way, but by not allowing a fair reserve/list system, they force people into refreshing their website to boost internal performance numbers, making a once-near-death business look at least a little lively.
