This does not have a USB port. Only has a slot for mini memory card Have not found a way to record.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It comes with only 8GB of internal storage which can be extended by an external SD Card. It does not natively allow recording of Movies/Shows but it is an Android system so there might be an Application you can download to do this. The purpose of this device is to stream content not record it, a DVR reciever might be what you need instead.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm going to assume by "record movies", you mean from Live TV. If that's wrong, this might not be helpful. Anyway, I don't know of a way to watch Live TV on the Shield TV because it doesn't have a OTA tuner. You can stream movies, download movies, and/or purchase them. The device itself has 8gb of storage (5gb is free on mine with the pre-installed apps, plus an additional 3 or 4 apps). You can add additional external storage.
