Can I get local channels through this device? null

Yes so long as you have an antenna source or set it up for TVE. It used to accept Locast as the local channel source but Locast was done in.

NO but you can look in app store maybe 1 or more of your local TV stations have an app? This device has a lot less apps than a android tv box also I returned mine for that reason.
