Yes! There are many apps that let you watch live TV. For local news, you can use the Newson add on, or install the Google Chrome browser and watch your local news right through their website

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.With the tv apps you'll have to have a cable subscription. Some NBC and and all be programs on the app are free. They do have lots of free content but they are things I am not interested in. I hope this helps
