• Yes it does. You can wirelessly hook up the newer Xbox controllers with it as well as PlayStation controllers. Also, I've hooked up older controllers to it via usb (there are 2 ports on the back) so you can wire in old xbox or ps controllers. It's a great gaming device. Hope this helps!

• I currently have two controllers paired with my shield. I heard you can pair up to 4.
