“I want to hook up my new PC to my 55inch 4k tv. I know I won't get 4k visuals which is fine 1080 is good for me, but is this able to handle my tv with video games like monster Hunter or fallout high fps? Or should I just spend the $ on the higher HP omen?”

Ive learned TV's are are generally a tad bit slower computer monitors. Just buy the HP Omen 36 monitor.

Please try again later.Not sure if this helps (don’t have a 4K TV, don’t know if that’d change anything), but I’ve got mine hooked up to my 1080 HD Visio TV, and also hook it up to my 1080 HD Roku/Insignia TV (both via HDMI; both TV’s are about 40 inches) on occasion when I want to use the Visio for something else, and they work great. Beats getting a new, smaller monitor.
