“I hooked up my desktop to my monitor with hdmi, but when I turn the computer on it lights up like it has power but nothing pops up on the monitor. HELP pls”

I had the same problem but I learned I was using the wrong hdmi port. You have to use the ones higher up on the back and it will work. Try it.
