“I have Lyca Mobile. If I just change my sim card from my current phone to this one it will be activated. Does that count as activating it with best buy or would I be spending the extra 50 dollars to activate it later? Thanks”

Lyca Mobile is T Mobile mvno. This 8T global model will operate on 4G and 5G frequency bands. Simply insert the Lyca Mobile sim into sim tray and new 8T phone, and connect to the T Mobile network. The 8T global is dual sim, dual standby. You can load a sim card from an alternate for business or international calling.
