A:AnswerBecause it is defective. My guess is an issue with the laser. Mine did the same thing straight out of the box. When it did play, the cds skipped really bad. It was unlistenable. Return it.
A:AnswerNot familiar with the wave system IV but I have it hooked to my older Bose wave system via analog output cables from the CD player to the audio aux Jacks on the Bose (red/ white ended dual cable marked L & R Sounds Great.
A:AnswerFirst chech if the cd is clean or damage.Also change the position of the cd you may try to play a recorded cd whit very low quality or a copy.Remrmber this is a high end unit.Also xheck the shuffle boton maybe is on.Try all those in the very last the unit may be damage.
