“My current receiver ( a piece of junk ) is 170w and is connected to a complete house surround system with speakers in all rooms with volume dials. The volume dials are set at the highest they can go.Will I get better sound,does it need an antenna?”

You need a multi-zone receiver which has as many zones as you have rooms with speakers in it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I cannot say this is the best received to buy but I had a $700 Denon receiver that blew because of a lightening strike and I see no difference this is a quality receiver! I have $2599 worth of speakers that still sound great with this receiver!!
