“Do the two hdmi outs put out the same signal with main audio playback? I have a denon right now that has two outs and one runs to a tv, the other to a projector. We watch projector on movie nights mostly but I need the same feed to both”

This is exactly why i bought this receiver as i have the same projector and tv setup. It works perfectly to send the signal to both. This also has an unpowered passthrough so you can use the TV speakers to watch any source if you don't want to turn the receiver on for full surround.
