“I've got speaker wire and banana plugs...do I need a separate cable for the subwoofer? Or can I use the banana plugs/speaker wire for the subwoofer? Looks like my banana plugs will work for all the other speakers (please correct me if I'm wrong)”

I don’t know what banana plugs are but there is a separate area for subwoofer. Bare wires for speakers have an area also. I set up 7 speakers and subwoofer with no problem. You’ll have to ask Best Buy about banana plugs.
